When adding a gallery only its shortcode is displayed. What should I do?

Follow the next steps in order to fix this problem:

1. Make sure that the plugin is installed and activated.
2. Check the PHP template and make sure that the content of your pages is displayed through the_content() or get_the_content() If such function is missing, the shortcode will be displayed as a simple text.
