How to generate an API token in the Zendesk Admin interface

Please complete the following steps in order to generate the API token:


1. Go to;
2. Click "Log In" button;
3. Select "Zendesk support" and enter the required data;
4. Click the Admin icon in the left sidebar and select Channels > API -;
5. Check "Settings tab" to make sure that the Token Access is enabled;
6. Click "+" button at the right corner of Active API Tokens;
7. Enter a name for the token, and click Create;
8. The token is generated and displayed for you in a window.
